Aisha Gaten: I came through after trying several shops Lemiert Park that were randomly closed on Tuesday afternoon around 12pm. Metered street parking out front and available around the block. Was helped by a lovely gentleman who chatted with me about just about everything, including Africa and the fabric they have here. When I went, there were mostly wax prints with about 25-30 varieties in prints and colors. I ended up with some beautiful ankara for $8/yard and some cute little cowrie shell hair clips. In addition to the fabric they have a few beads, statues, and other figurines. Overall an incredibly lovely and warm experience with a truly Black-owned business. I'll be back for whatever I need or just to chat again 😊
