David Moon: I found the people super nice there and the prices were fair. No pick-a-number and wait to be called like a butcher shop. No huge empty spaces on shelves from missing stock. Just go ahead and wander around looking at the ammo and gear without any pressure and grab what you need. Yeah ammo is expensive, but it's like that everywhere.There's not a lot of choices for ammo in post pandemic Los Angeles, so you go where you can. I see a lot of negative reviews but my experience there was better than most places I've been these days.

Versus TheKid: Went in to browse a couple weeks ago.Small spot. Reminded me of a vinyl record shop. Most accessories for the pistols were in the high end of prices but they did have a few of the basics like mag release extension, ghost 3.5lbs trigger, pistol lights n red dots. AR accessories had a better selection. Mostly strike industries stuff but they had radian charging handles n some aero p stuff too. All the prices were about the same as turners or other gun shops. With a 5-10% markup. The stuff I got for my Glock was about a dollar or 2 more each, than online. About a 5% markup. Not bad. Small gun shops gotta make money.Saw a pretty cool berreta shirt so I got that too.All the pistol prices were about a 10% markup compared to turners SALES prices for the same pistols. Small business gotta eat too so I don't mind. I was browsing for a WASR 10 but they didn't have one. I did end up grabbing a maverick 88 I saw for 250. Consignment, so I had to pay in full. Came out to about 290 after fees. Not bad imo. I seen a few at Turner's on consignment for 250 to 300.With the pistol grips around 200. So it was an easy buy.Went back about 2 weeks later and picked it up along with 2 boxes of target shot. They didn't have any buck shot or slugs. Nor hollow points for my glock. That was the only reason I took a star off from 5. For a small FFL business it's very important to keep a good flow of same customers/community coming in. AMMO is the best way to keep that inflow. And if I can't reliably restock on my plinking 9mil n 5.56, green tips, hollow points, buck n slugs n game load, I wont be coming back to check on stock as often as I see turners or Burbank ammo/guns stock. That's just my opinion though.I figured I'd do a review since I saw so many bad reviews for this spot and typically the small FFLs that do have bad reviews are due to no inventory, no ammo, and bad attitudes.They only had one guy behind the counter so the service is slow. But then again so is turners and they have like 3 or 4. The gun selection is modest. Turners has a bigger selection. But they have more inventory than other spots I've been to. They have a nice selection of custom 1911 stuff. Grips n custom gold builds etc. Honestly it's something they should advertise but their online website is terrible so it wouldn't matter. They do stippling and custom slide cuts and laser designs. Which again is pretty cool. But it's pricy AF. Worth it tho cuz it looks pretty badass. It's the lack of AMMO that gave them the 4 out of 5. Hopefully they start to stock up with more selection so locals can restock there after range days. I live close by so Id prefer the 10 minute drive to restock here versus the 2 hour drive to n back from Burbank ammo or LAX ammo, just to save 20 bux. Overall a chill experience. The owner was pretty chill and his son was cool too. So no complaints about service for me. Just ammo.

JOSHUA GREFER: Sadly, they shut down. They had the coolest firearms, rather than only just bolt action rifles and shotguns that . Only store around here that I know of that even had cool surplus rifles still. They even had blackpowder muskets and antique collectibles like WW2 artifacts. Sad to see them leave.
