Jose Ortiz Jr: I have a 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche did a engine rebuilt with Gonzalez engine rebuilders 5 years ago since than I haven’t had any problems at all I took it to my cousin’s Ortiz Jr auto repair to check the compression on the engine & it had good compression on all 8 cylinders when I took it to get it rebuilt I went to different spots even with my cousin & no one gave me a better deal than Gonzalez I definitely use them again if I need to get another engine rebuilt with the rebuilt they included the installation they basically took off my engine rebuilt it & put it back I’m about to call to ask them if they do cam’s if so I want to do more mod’s performance wise hopefully they do performance stuff for any regular engine rebuilt Gonzalez is the shop to go to I’ll be posting more details on my next review if they happen to do atleast cam, throttle body manifold upgrade also since I’m going into I want to delete the AFM/DOD so I hope to do all of the above mentioned so if they do go & do it I’ll post the outcome
Juan Perez: I picked up an old Subaru from some guy that didn't know what he was doing at all. Took it here and turns out I had really bad head gasket problem among other problems I knew about already. Got it fixed by them and my car is back on the road. Other mechanics refuse to work on Subarus due to the reputation of being difficult to work on, not here. I recommend this place to anyone. Prices are cheaper than going to other places that try and charge your an arm and a leg for labor.

stefone holmes: They are very helpful and knowledgeable. They rebuilt a 350 sbc into a 357. I picked up the engine myself and installed it myself and broke in the camshaft by myself. Everything been going good nearly a year later. Engine rebuilt 2/23... I'm writing this 1/24 the Engine is in my 1963 Chevy Impala

Javier Fausto: I took my 99 honda civic to Castillo's after I was recommended from my older brother and Misdiagnosed from another shop they told me that my engine was worn out and after I told Efren what noise it was making he told me that the Catalytic converter need to be replaced that's what was causing the noise and my car runs better than before Thank again Efren 👍👍

sid dis: I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS.So I am not kidding when I say that A & D buggies is the ONLY place in LA you should ever consider when getting your classic VW repaired or maintained. These guys go above and beyond just the extra mile to make sure the job is done correctly. And they have tons of knowledge when it comes to these cars.They think outside of the box, carefully diagnose your issues and repair accordingly.BEST OF ALL - THEY ARE INCREDIBLY HONEST, ETHICAL in their dealings and surprisingly affordable. The mechanics/techs are also generous with their time and made me feel like my car is actually important to them. Love the corporate culture they got going over there!- I went in there to replace my clutch - and they could have easily replaced my entire clutch system which I would've gladly paid for. Instead they told me and showed me that I only had a bad clutch cable which immediately fixed the problem. While they had my car on the operating table they also took care of several little things that quickly could have given me major problems while driving - some of which carried serious mechanical risks.HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
