LINDA C: We had Scott's team remove a complex indoor - outdoor pool at our home as well as some additional demolition work. They were extremely professional, getting the necessary permits, soils engineer and City inspections that were needed to do the job. They were reasonably priced and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. Scott returned all phone calls and emails promptly and completed all of the work as promised. We would highly recommend his company for any work that needed to be done.
Ben Cornwell: 5.0 star rating 12/2/2016Don't look anywhere else. To say that my job didn't go exactly according to plan would be an understatement and Scott and his entire team were pros from start to finish. Some of the other reviews should be taken with a grain of salt as they don't address the actual work. Our job was a demo and fill an old pool on the side of a 100 year old home in a historic neighborhood under the watchful eye of an HPOZ and the team didn't miss a beat. When the job was complete and I asked for another load of dirt to be brought in they did just that without hesitation. The consistent communication from Scott was also a huge plus as the home is a complete remodel and I'm rarely on site. Finally, remember that you get what you pay for; there may be cheaper contractors out there, but there aren't any better - take that to heart when you consider back-hoes, bobcats, jack-hammers, and dump trucks on your property!
Jim Moran: I emailed several companies requesting quotes and Scott replied within an hour to set up an appointment ... I'm still waiting for those other companies to respond. I had a lap pool that needed demo'd and after arriving at a reasonable price, Scott and his team took care of everything, local city permit and scheduled the inspections and soil tests. From start to finish, very professional and Scott was always available via phone or email to answer any questions. No surprises, because I hate surprises from demo services.
Robert Jorgensen: I contracted S.K Choppin Demolition to demolish a swimming pool in my backyard in the city of San Dimas, CA. I have been impressed with this company since day one. The contract proposal itself was very professionally prepared and easy to understand, even for someone not familiar with all the technical terms. My many questions along the way were answered and clearly explained by the excellent and knowledgeable staff in a very timely manner. The project hit a bit of a snag at the permit stage and Scott spent hours with me examining all options and really went to bat for me with the city. Scott and his team are very honest, hard working professionals who clearly go the extra mile to take care of their customers. I highly recommend their services and will use them again for future projects.

Kevin Wong: Had my swimming pool back fill this November. I contacted Brian Choppin and he gave me response within 24hr which I really satisfied on the response time. The project duration was about a week, and Choppin team was really professional; they arrived on time and Brain sent me all the procedure before the work and gave me updates everyday about the project. Since I am always busy on my own work, Brain been really helpful update the status on the project with me. There was no damage made and they cleaned up everything after job done. My mom was really happy about the service and she wants Brain work on another landscaping project later on. Somehow I ran into some financial problem so the landscaping project was cancelled. But I really appreciated on Choppin team's work and higher recommended.

Chris Richardson: I was involved in the real estate transaction and sales effort on a project located at Marsh and Nipomo Streets in downtown San Luis Obispo. In 2009, the owner at that time was required to demolish two single family homes related to a request from the City of San Luis Obispo.
