    Raymond Vargas Campos: Stopped by this place on 13 April. Been coming here every time I'm in LA for a long time. For $11, I got three meat and half and half chow mein and rice. Food was pretty good, especially the jalapeño chicken. That chicken was fire. Sweet and spicy. Can't go wrong there. Staff were friendly and they do keep the place clean. Highly recommend.

    Patrick Xu: It was a quite interesting experience. There were homeless people sleeping beside the parking lot. You have to pay before the food was served. The lady owner told us that there were instances the that food prepared for pickups were stolen and people were leaving without paying after meals. That being said, the food was actually pretty good. The kung pao chicken and the green beans were well cooked and flavorful. The portions were large and the price was very reasonable. The owner was very friendly.

They give you huge portions for reasonable prices you won't find anywhere else.The food is always on point for your typical take-out. One time they forgot the appetizer we ordered and they gave us a credit for it the next time we came in. When we did, they gave us additional portions without us asking. It showed the owner cared.Yes, the ambiance hasn't changed since...the 80s, and the food isn't going to go above and beyond some of the places you'd find in Gardena or Chinatown but it's the typical spot you'd find everywhere across the East Coast when you need something quick, easy, and delicious. It's not trying to be trendy. The staff has always been helpful and kind.Check it out and grab some take out if you haven't.

At that time, my brothers or mine opened secretly and my mother brought Chinese food to me and my brother Paco to Mexico. What is it? An idea if we don't know about that Chinese food, special tasty food and its employees and its owner are very kind people.

    Fry Productions: Overall a good place but the size of the plates got smaller over the years. I still prefer this place over New china Mongolian across the street.

I give them 4 stars because the food is tasty in its own regard, but to call it Chinese food is a STRETCH. Eating here feels like being cat-fished but not by an ugly person, just not the person you expected.

Every time I’ve tried to recently order online or walk in they are closed and I see now on google it shows temporarily closed. Hope they open back up soon!- EditThe once Chubby Rice is now called Chubby Yaki and the menu is different.. Food is more pricey but now includes steaks and more expensive types of foods.. I walked in and staff was nice and all but the price was a bit much for my usual work lunch so I did not end up ordering or trying the food. I did ask about the “famous” chubby eggroll that’s like the size of a burrito but she said they only have regular egg rolls now Wish them luck but will miss the old spot..

You can’t beat the two item combo and they pack the container till there’s no empty space. I recommend the beef and broccoli, peppered chicken, orange chicken, and items that are made to order like the sweet n sour chicken and the shrimp bowl.Parking: There’s plenty of parking in the shopping center lot.
