San Zee: I have loved photography since I was 15 years old or younger. I never took the time to understand anything about my camera and all the things that are required to create a beautiful image about 10 years ago. I walked into Pauls Photo and everybody in there was so wonderful very knowledgeable, and helped me find a camera for me to start with and show me some options for classes that I could take. It has been quite a journey. I am more confident, and I have a great understanding of how to use my equipment. I am also very grateful for the photography community at Pauls Photo.I have met some wonderful people and created some wonderful friendships. I have not only experienced growth in my photography, but also growth everywhere in my life. This year I submitted six photos to the Orange County fair and three were selected for the exhibit.I’m so grateful for Pauls Photo and all that they do for the photography community I highly recommend you come check them out.

Lucas B: I came to Samy's in search of a used camera with a macro lens. I was pleasantly surprised by how large this store was. It has multiple stories depending on what you are looking for. I went to the 3rd floor to look at new and used cameras. Scott helped me pick out a camera that was in my budget and a lens that would work for me. We discussed differences between mirrorless and DSLR cameras. I did not feel like he was selling to me at any point. He provided me with the information and allowed me to make a decision. I am very happy with my decision and Scott's help. He welcomed me back with any questions and I feel like he genuinely meant it. Great experience overall.

Colleen Winfough: A few weekends ago I was faced with a difficult circumstance due to it being difficult to rent equipment - I am a student building my book for eventual portfolio review and close to the end of my program at NYFA. My biggest grievance and struggle with my experience there thusfar.Scott helped me so much in securing the 24-70 mm lens being exchanged for the 14 mm I bought about a week prior. He helped through the entire process and with a tiny bit a stress, and a winning outcome I feel so happy that I now don’t have to rely on renting this lens and can truly explore and create. William Mantovani de Barros: The best photography store in Los Angeles, wide variety of equipment, free parking and excellent service. I went today to buy a Sony A6700 and I will come back to buy everything I need for my equipment.
Denny Kleen: Love the parking when you first arrive. They have rentals and they have three floors of amazing equipment and very, very knowledgeable and friendly people working behind the counter. You can compare products and I think they give you a great deal on lighting and cameras. And like I said, they are extremely knowledgeableabout the products that they sell even a cable you will get the best cable for your equipment. It’s important to them.

Before going to the store I called their main number and was courteously transferred to the correct department, which was Service Bureau. That department extension was courteously answered by Roger who said I could bring the files in on my iPhone. I drove there and went upstairs to the right place. Roger was able to have me air drop the files to his workstation. Payment was made at the time of the order. Roger mentioned the work might not be ready by Friday
