Lou has been in the bartending industry for years, he has worked at famous bars and invented award winning drinks and he will teach you everything he knows. Be prepared, he can be harsh, so put your big girl panties on... but it's worth it, because you don't get any bad habits and you'll be prepared for any type of person you meet in this industry. And also he WILL make you laugh. Cindy will give you life advice, career advice, and do everything she can to get you a job. Mr. G is helpful, funny, and kind. All three truly want all of their students to succeed, and they never forget a face or a name. Even students who graduated years before would drop by to say hello, which to me is a sign of a school that produces students who are glad they attended. Cindy has a huge amount of connections at bars, restaurants, catering companies, clubs, concert venues and more, and she connects everyone with all the work she can. And once you get that prized position behind the bar you'll be prepared with the knowledge of what to do from Lou and Mr. G. All of the people I knew who graduated at the same time as me were either already employed, had done several gigs, or were on their way to getting a job by the time they graduated. If you're thinking of enrolling don't hesitate!

Justin Matson: This school is amazing! Taught by seasoned professionals, Louis, Mr. G, and Cindy, they helped me learn all the tools and tricks to becoming a great bartender, with real behind-the-bar experience. You practice in a fully functional bar, just with fake alcohol. Each lesson goes really in depth on the different drink types and bartending fundamentals, and the midterm and final held me accountable so I had to make sure I knew everything before graduating. I feel so much more confident and prepared as a bartender, and I already booked my first job just a day after graduating! I definitely recommend coming here if you're thinking about bartending!

Bartending Training Institute is for those who are serious about bartending in a fast-paced environment. Classes can range from funny to ‘bartending bootcamp’ Lou reminds me of a Martin Scorsese character- not a fast read, hard-core, and magnetic. Classes with Lou are not for the faint of heart! Mr.G is a charismatic and firm teacher. Cindy’s remarkable ability to remember texting every student to follow up with job placement and scheduling is impressive. The job opportunities she connects us with are diverse. I would describe BTI as a highly cinematic experience. Everyone here has a lot of character including the students.
