Marco Aguiar: Got back into fishing after decades of a sabbatical. Martin hooked me up, no pun intended, with quality rods & reels along with gear. Very knowledgeable and considerate about your budget. Doesn’t try to sell you something out of your price range or experience. Needless to say I took to my bait cast reel as if I never stopped fishing. Top it off, Martin knew my buddy whom I located after decades of losing touch and why I’m fishing again. I’ll be going to Martin’s for gear, knowledge & information regarding fishing.

The Woa (The Woa): Oh Ms Izzy June. What a catch 😜. Alright enough about my Korean crush. I highly recommend this place. She answered every question without making a sale and that's what sold me. I walked out and walked right back in and bought. She won't make you feel mistaken about fishing even when you are. She knows every inch of the store and all the pro anglar tricks. Species specific information, seasonality and so much more she might be Izzy or Izzie June but all year long you can count on this store to dial you in. Fish On!!!

Luis Lozano: Local spot , bought my first combo here 2 years back and haven't had a problem with the gear. I have fished it plenty and often. The staff is wonderful and helpful ,from the guy fixing the reels to the person charging you. I can't express how great my experiences have been here . The live lugworm is also one item I can appreciate them for having . Stop by on your way to the beach or when tackling the local ponds they have it all.

I grabbed a handful at bargain prices. I also bought some nightcrawlers. They also sell frozen cut bait. Also, they repair broken rods and reels.Best of all — when I didn’t have enough loose change to pay, the owner still bagged the items.So great such a fishing tackle store is still open in the heart of Los Angeles surviving the closing of lakes and beaches to fishing last year! Great place to look for bargains!
