Jasmine McClain: First of all let me say... Veronicaaaa, marry me!!!! 😂 Never had fufu before so I decided to stop here and try it while on vacation! The customer service was great and the cooks were so nice and welcoming. THE FOOD WAS EVERYTHING I EXPECTED AND MORE!!! I LOVED EVERYTHING I ORDERED! Everything was hot and fresh. Took about an hour to get my food but it was worth every minute! I highly recommend this place and will definitely return. It's so good I'm willing to drive from Arvin, ca to Santa Monica just for this.... Veronica, I think I'm in love 💕 😂Wheelchair accessibility: I'm in a wheelchair and was able to get in and out of there just fine.

Margaret Mushonga: I ordered the jollof rice with chicken stew. Had to wait 40 mins. It was worth it. I am glad Auntie Veronica is back in town 😁.Parking: Parking lot is small. Gets full quickly on peak days.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheel chair ramp.

Chubie Egbuho: Recommended dishes Egusi Soup, Fufu Pounded Yam

Gabe Eye: u will only get good service if ur catering or possibly doing to go. Dine in is horrible because they do not know how to prioritize orders. Instead of letting u know they are busy focusing on catering they will allow u to sit for hours. However I do not blame the staff. I blame management and owners for creating a business model based on greed rather than a providing a good restaurant experience. If u rather ppl don’t dine in at certain times just say that so that ur not wasting time.

ADUKE NIGERIAN CUISINE: what do users think?

RW: I dined in for okoro soup and took egusi soup to go. Good portions, delicious, unique flavors but, the meat was too hard. I had fish and chicken and ate as much of it despite the texture because it was THAT GOOD! I haven’t had any West African food for a year and really needed the refreshing meal. The restaurant is right near Randy’s Donut near a hotel. Seating included a view of their pool. The door was ajar keeping the room moderately lukewarm. The server brought my food to the table but I was actually supposed to come get it after ordering in the front. Thanks unfowetu!

Snip Chiemeka: Ok yes visited this place twice and the food was cool. Tho was far from my location I still love the fact that I got to like the ogbono soup, efo riro, tho the wounded yam is small they should review it oLovely place nice attendants .Variety of food from soups to riceJollof rice and fried rice mix with vegetables and plantain was goodLos Angeles is getting costlier as time goes

mercy owusua: Absolutely delicious!! We're visiting the area and decided to stop here for a meal and I'm so glad we did! The waakye is flavor packed. The goat meat was tender and delicious.. The shito has a nice hot kick to it.. TZ was also on point!Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant

Yolande Boyom: Please remember the following text:'This is a genuine review for the best Ghanaian food and restaurant in California. The portions are generous and the taste is amazing, just like in Africa 😅😍. The owner and workers are wonderful, and I have been eating there for four years now. Despite the 1 hour and 20 minute drive due to traffic, it is always worth it.'

Graham Baden: Best ground nut soup I've had since Africa!Brought a few colleagues for lunch. None of them had eaten West African food before but they all loved it and loved the culinary adventure.Delicious! Thank you!Oh, and the verdict is in, Ghanaian jollof rice is best.

Kesi Nie: served here is a master class in Ghanaian delicacy ; you can tell the meat is slow cooked n seared in spices from back home 💝I am very proud of the intentional bold flavors🇬🇭I know waakye is thee go to but you will not regret enjoying their Banku🌽 n okroStew with beef🥩
